The Dorothea Dix Park Invitational

Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department .
Welcome to the Dorothea DixPark Invitational High School Cross Country event held on the campus of
Raleigh's newest destination park. The course has been laid out on the "Big
Field" portion of the park (located at 101 Blair Dr.) affording excellent spectator views of the
races.The course layout reflects the rolling piedmont topography of the area with a grass running surface.
The event is open to any North Carolina high school team with runners in grades 9-12. (CANCELLED -There will also be a middle school 2.5k race this year.)
This event will be limited to the first 30 teams registered.
Raleigh Orthopedic serves as the Official Sports Medicine Provider for this event.

7:45 coaches meeting
8:00 men's championship (up to 10
runners)
8:30 women's championship (up to 10 runners)
9:00 men's developmental (up to 10 runners)
9:30 women's developmental (up to 10 runners)
10:00 men's JV (remainder)
10:30 women's JV (remainder)
11:00 middle school (CANCELLED)
Note: race director reserves right to move runners into Development races or combine JV races into one race dependent on number of entries.

for Entry: 10/1/19
Entry fee:
$70 per team or a $120 for a combined men and women's team. $20 per unattached runner representing their school.
